The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds contains numerous weapons. In addition to the Master Sword, Link will be able to rent and buy weapons normally found in dungeons from a merchant named Ravio. Beware! Should you reach a game over screen, Ravio's bird Sheerow will snatch up any rented items you've borrowed from his shop and you'll have to rent them again.

Your Rupees should be managed wisely in A Link Between Worlds. They've never been more important, and you'll be spending a lot of them if you find yourself falling in battle frequently. Once you have all three Pendants of Virtue (the green Pendant of Courage given to you by Zelda, the blue Pendant of Wisdom from the House of Gales, and the red Pendant of Power from the Tower of Hera), you will have the option to buy Ravio's items. The first item you will buy will be half off! You should buy items from Ravio as soon as possible. Even if you are currently renting an item, you can still buy it by going to the item's respective space in Ravio's Shop and selecting it.
TIP: The Net and Lantern can be used as weapons if you upgrade them. To upgrade the Lantern, you'll need to complete the Advanced Level in the Treacherous Tower. Completing the Advanced Level a second time will earn you the upgraded Net. This is also a good way to earn Rupees if you need to buy any of the weapons.TIP: If buying isn't in your budget at the moment, a different item each day will be on sale at Ravio's shop, so be on the lookout!
TIP: Most dungeons require a certain weapon in order to be entered and completed, or made easier. Rent items according to the dungeons you wish to take in order!
