Once you're there, get on the nearest boat and paddle forward, then go to the right, where you will find a dock to leave your boat in. Go up the stairs and move through the rock walls to get to an open area. If this is your first time here, there will be a couple of enemies, including some trolls and two Nokkens.
Deal with the Nokkens first and then focus on the trolls. Before you can finish off the last troll, a dragon will come out of nowhere and take your kill, but at least now you know you're near its lair.
Finding the Dragon
Go back to the boat and paddle to the right through the cave. Then turn right again and keep paddling until your reach the shore from the pic below, the one near the Nornir Chest.
Get off your boat and walk a little forward. Next, use your blades to go up the wall shown below.
Now walk to the right and drop down. From there, keep moving forward using your blades to get around. Eventually, you will find some red vines blocking the way, but you can create a chain reaction using purple sigils and your blades to burn them.
Now keep moving forward, and you will get to a climbable wall use it and follow the path to get to where the dragon is.
The Corpse Eater Boss Fight
Once you find the dragon, a boss fight will start.
Instead of fire, this dragon spits ice, so keep an eye on its elemental attacks. Other than that, this creature will perform a blockable bite attack as well as an unblockable attack using its wings.
When the dragon has about a quarter of its health left, it will start performing more aggressive attacks like launching into you or breathing an ice beam towards you.
Your best strategy here is to block or dodge the dragon's attack, then attack it when it is on the ground. However, whenever the dragon takes off and flies, throw a spear at it when it's flying towards you to stun it and give yourself a short period to safely attack it.
When the dragon's health is low enough, it will grab you and fly away, use this time to deal as much damage as possible by repeatedly attacking with R1 or R2.
Once the dragon is dead, this side quest will come to an end.
