Joshua Dean DuBois, aged 41, passed away unexpectedly on June 17, 2021 in Nashville, TN. His passing has left an empty space in the hearts of both family and friends who remember him fondly as someone who delighted in life’s simple pleasures.
Family Ties
Joshua was blessed to be surrounded by an extended and supportive family that included his mother Janie Diane Romines and father Floyd DuBois and Vickie, with both sets of parents as pillars of strength. Joshua leaves behind children Nicholas Dean DuBois and Jaysen Aries DuBois as well as stepdaughters Eren Chandler and Erica Dubois who hold dear memories together; as do Anthony “Yak” DuBois and Brandi as sources of strength. Additionally, stepbrothers Travis Romines and Andrew Garmon as well as grandparents Shirley Crow and Arval & Linda Sesler along with niece Chasity and nephew AJ also bear witness to loving family bonds that existed between siblings and extended families that made Joshua wholly fulfilled.
Joshua lived a life full of simple pleasures. A true son to both his Momma and Nanna, Joshua found happiness in nature’s serenity – country music was his lifeblood as was fishing – an activity which helped him connect with nature while tapping into his inner self. Savouring moments – be they sipping vodka or smoking cigarettes – was key for Joshua as it proved that life should be lived according to individual preference.
