Pokemon Sun and Moon lets you scan in QR Codes to register Pokemon to your Pokedex or in some cases, receive that Pokemon within the game!

A QR code exists for all of the Pokemon in the Alolan Pokedex, save for legendaries and a few others. Our list has the Pokedex split into three, and you can find the QR code for the Pokemon you are looking for in the links below.

If you scan 10 QR Codes, you'll be able to use an Island Scan that will locate a Pokemon on the island you're on that is not a part of the Alolan Pokedex.

Players will unlock QR code patterns of Pokemon they catch, allowing them to share these QR codes with others. Scanning a QR code pattern unlocked by another player registers this Pokemon in your Pokedex and shows its location in the game. Take note that you still have to capture the Pokemon yourself to get the full Pokedex entry!
