BIOGRAPHY
Amesh Edireweera is an actor of Indian and British nationality, who spent a few years of his childhood in India, before moving, with his family, to the United Kingdom. Since he was a teenager he was intrigued by acting and showed excitement and talent for theatre, so, upon finishing high school, he focused on getting a place at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, in Cardiff, Wales. Upon leaving, he teamed up with some classmates to create an amateur theater company, with which they used to present works from Shakespeare’s repertoire. Known for his first relevant role, as Caliban, in a staging of the play The Tempest , Amesh managed to obtain his first television role, as Ajay, a man who comes from nowhere and becomes the right hand of a dangerous criminal. , in the series The Serpent (2021).
